How Xpeedium Built a Real Estate ERP in Under 6 Months

When Nairobi Property Group approached us, they had a problem familiar to any growing real estate business: their operations were spread across WhatsApp groups, spreadsheets, and a basic accounting tool. Managing over 200 properties across Nairobi with that setup wasn't sustainable.

The Brief

The client needed a single platform to manage properties, tenants, leases, rent collection, maintenance requests, and financial reporting — all in one place, accessible by their team across multiple offices.

How We Approached It

We spent the first three weeks in discovery. We interviewed property managers, accountants, and the operations director. We mapped every workflow, identified every pain point, and documented every data relationship. Only then did we write a single line of code.

The build was split into three sprints: core property and tenant management, financial tracking and automated rent reminders, and reporting dashboards. Each sprint ended with a demo and sign-off from the client team.

The Result

Six months from kickoff, the platform was live. The client's team adopted it within days — because we had built it with them, not just for them. Rent collection is now automated. Maintenance requests are tracked to resolution. The MD can pull a full portfolio report in under 30 seconds.
